She lay on her back
for a few seconds,
staring
at the textured ceiling
with the mysterious
spaghetti sauce stain.
Suddenly she
began
flapping her arms and legs
there on the floor, as if to swish
the imaginary snow
into a snow angel.
"Falling down is also a gift!" says she.

You know what I have not done lately? Besides returning phone calls, answering emails, writing anything here, or otherwise interacting with the world?
I haven't posted photos in ages. Many apologies to the grandparents.
Here's one from our backyard yesterday:
The best part about this photo? This is pretty much how Frankie looks at Annika for every minute of every day. When she's not fake-punching here, that is.

Oh my GOODNESS those girls are getting so big! They are beautiful and look so very happy. Frankie looks positively in LOVE with Anni!
