Remember how I was all, "Oh, I'm so totally not crazy that I didn't even bother fixing that photo slideshow where the pics went all blurry after I uploaded it! Yay for mental health!"
Yes, I fixed it. But only because I got an email from Universal Music Group telling me that I was infringing on their copyright by using the Ella Fitzgerald song. Which they were totally fine with, actually, as long as it was OK to put advertising next to the video. Which I was also fine with, given that it is Ella Fitzgerald, after all. She's surely worth a few ads.
But then it turned out that the ads sometimes featured a psychedelia-neon brain. (Yes, a brain.) That blinked. Through the entire video.
Universal Music Group, I somehow think Ella would object, too.
So I pulled that video, and replaced it with this one, which features one of my favorite holiday song finds of this year: Dressy Bessy-All the Right Reasons. Christmas time always leaves me sad (some years more than others) but I have this masochistic obsession with finding new holiday music every year. It used to be harder before the advent of iTunes, which has pretty much taken the sport out of the hunt for me.
Now that Christmas is over I can move on to other obsessions. Such as identifying the best cover version of the Beatles' song Because.
More, possibly maybe, tonight. Not that that is a threat or anything.
